I'm debating between these three size machines, although the 1914 and 2554 are my most likely candidates for me. Any opinions?<br>Could some one explain the main differences between the transmissions, it appears to me that the 2554, 8fwd 2 rev is more like a regular vehicle, while the 1914 shuttle gives 8/8 with one lever changing directions. Can someone explain their preference, can't imagine needing 8 speeds in reverse. Next question, what are the advantages or dis-advantages between the live pto as the 3054 has and the not live pto of the 1914 and 2554. I'm planning on putting on a hoe and bucket and will be clearing 5 acres and doing some landscaping around the house. <br>Thanks for you helpKevin

Tom, I just started looking for a tractor and am leaning to a 790, why would you be selling it in such a short time, I'm looking to put a hoe on it. Have you had problems??
